i must cancel my preorder of the game and boycott Bioware forever and all time because they did not put this little bit of content in the game as is and not having it will completely ruin my gaming experience

Do people not even consider that this DLC could be something that, instead of stalling the release of the main game to add it in, BioWare decided to go ahead and release the game as it was and put the bonus content up as DLC on the same day? Seriously, the discs have to be pressed in advance long before the game even makes it to stores. While it could have been finished in time to release digitally on the release date, the game could have been delayed months just to add it in, which would piss off fans even more.

Shit, I’ve never even played the Mass Effect games, and I know the fanbase would be pretty pissed off about that, more so than DLC being released on the same date as the game.
